“Hey Bogdan, I’m Here” – The New Viral TikTok Trend 🎵

Hey, Bogdan, I’m here – it’s not just a phrase coined during a stream. It’s a full-blown meme that went viral on the TikTok platform. How did Glad Valakas manage to create such a popular tune, and what’s the meaning behind it? Let’s dive into it right now in our piece.

How the Tune Emerged

January 2022 was a lively month on TikTok, not only because of Nekogla, Ivan Zolo, and Dippins but also thanks to heilqqnw – one of the platform’s users. He uploaded a video on his profile, featuring a seemingly ordinary song as the main motif. However, the community was captivated by how the guy performed this simple melody: his voice was soothing and melodious. The video amassed hundreds of thousands of views and propelled it to virality.

The theme of the simple phrase “Bogdan is a god-given” not only gained popularity but also became the basis for numerous sketches. Different creators started incorporating various events, other people, and much more into their videos, often in unexpected ways.

Later, the video’s creator himself began reworking the initial video and recorded the tune with his image in the background. Bogdan’s tune began to draw comparisons from subscribers to other similarly named things or people, such as Bogdan Titomir or the “Bogdan” bus.

Currently, TikTok boasts over 130,000 videos on this theme with the original recording. There are even more modified versions created by users themselves. The meme has started gaining popularity on other media platforms and social networks as well.

Who is the Bogdan in the Memes?

After the video gained traction, the original author confessed that it wasn’t his voice in the recording. In fact, he had no idea who Bogdan was, as it was all a complete fabrication.

Later on, it was revealed that six months ago, a certain Denis Sukhachev, a streamer from Samara, presented himself as Bogdan with the exact same voice. Glad Valakas, operating under this pseudonym, has a history of impersonating other individuals, altering his appearance and voice using special software.

In Denis’s old recordings, you can see him making prank calls to various delivery services, pretending to be Bogdan – a regular kid with a sweet voice. Surprisingly, this prank was quite popular among other users, but nobody ever recognized Bogdan’s voice.

After some time, a stream by Glad Valakas was discovered where he simply started singing the tune while waiting to connect with a certain service. This disappointed many users who had believed for a long time that the boy was genuine and had enjoyed his melodious voice.

By the way, the curious and sometimes even mysterious meme didn’t bring any significant achievements to the original creator. He noted that the number of views increased slightly but nothing more. The trend itself surprised him because almost everyone began creating their sketches using his altered voice.
