The chest with the diagram for enhanced chest armor can be found near the sleeping place of one of the bandits.

You can also head to the ruined tower near the Rannvaig Village, where a few treasure chests have survived. Here, you will find the diagram for enhanced gloves. Heading much further north, you’ll need to find a cave with centipedes (skolopenndromorphs). After reading a note, it will lead you to a dead-end with a waterfall, where you can find the diagrams for the pants and boots. To craft this equipment, you’ll need:

  • For Grandmaster Chest Armor – 1 Mastercrafted Chest Armor, 2 Reinforced Dragonoid Leather, 2 Enriched Dimeritium Plate, 1 Monster Essence, and 1 Monster Heart;

Finding Blueprints and Crafting Weapons!

You can find the blueprints for excellent weapons in the impassable swamps of the southern part of Velen. They are full of mysteries that can pique a witcher’s interest. To obtain the blueprint for the excellent steel sword, you’ll have to battle an earth elemental guarding access to the ruins of a knight’s tower. While searching for the blueprint of the excellent silver sword, you’ll need to use the Keira Metz artifact. You’ll need to dispel the cold illusion of the cave.
