Currency and cosmetics from Overwatch will move to Overwatch 2

Blizzard has announced that all players will be able to transfer all cosmetics and currency from the first part to Overwatch 2. This will not only apply to cosmetics, but also to the lootboxes.

While there is no exact information about how the inventory will be migrated, they promise to do it in the next part of the game. This is another answer to a popular question on the Reddit forum from the game’s directors. All the lootboxes will be automatically opened, as there will be no lootboxes in the second part.

The game will be released on October 4 on PC and Xbox consoles.
