The game does not reveal most of its story in a traditional way. To understand what is really happening, you need to review various records and read documents. There will be a total of 55 documents and 50 videos that shed light on part of the plot. It is largely based on the events in Jonestown in 1978 that led to a massacre. The characters in the story are fictional. Sullivan Knoth and his followers decided to leave our sinful world behind and founded the town of Temple Gate deep in the desert and far away from any civilization. Knoth and his church are preparing for the hardships of the end times.
Blake Langermann, a journalist and cameraman, along with his wife Lynn, decides to investigate the case of a mysterious murder of a pregnant woman named Jane Doe. To do this, they arrive in the Supai region of Arizona, in the Sonoran Desert, to find an industrial complex that is causing high levels of mercury in the environment. This is confirmed by the blood tests of the murdered woman. During the investigation and search, the protagonist will have to face numerous problems and enemies.
