In the era of the Cold War, the Murkoff Corporation willingly hires test subjects to experiment with advanced brainwashing and consciousness control methods. In a world of mistrust, fear, and violence, your morals will be questioned, your endurance tested, and your sanity shattered. And all in the name of progress, science, and profit.
You are all prisoners of Murkoff, locked inside their facility. You can face the trials alone or as a team of 2, 3, or 4 players.
The main gameplay, much like in Outlast, involves avoiding enemies, hiding from them, and attempting to escape. Murkoff will provide you with tools to enhance your stealth, create opportunities for escape, slow down enemies, and much more. However, you will have to earn these tools and work hard to improve them.
