Developers Remove Traditional Contracts from Call of Duty: Warzone
In one of the recent updates by Infinity Ward, alongside various additions, they introduced a new contract to Warzone called ‘Most Wanted.’ However, this decision came at the expense of removing all the other familiar contracts from the game, leaving players in shock.
Essentially, the new contract makes the player a target for all other users on the map, challenging them to survive while being hunted and offering rewards in the form of in-game currency and the ability to revive fallen teammates.
Previously, players could easily earn cash for advancing in the game by completing standard contracts. Now, Warzone requires players to undertake the rather challenging ‘Most Wanted’ contract to achieve the same goal, which has left many users discontented.
This is not the first attempt by the Call of Duty developers to experiment with their player base. In previous instances, the game eventually reverted to its standard modes and rules after user resistance to the changes. Most likely, a similar outcome can be expected in this case as well.
