Some Players Unable to Launch CoD: Warzone through Battle.net

In the game Call of Duty: Warzone, every update brings new technical issues, and unfortunately, this has become the norm lately. It’s common that after an update or patch, various technical problems arise.

Recently, developers were able to acknowledge but not resolve an issue where some players couldn’t launch CoD: Warzone through Battle.net. Interestingly, players had been reporting this issue as a bug since January.

Among the recent issues, there were several bugs that allowed players to survive outside the zone in safe areas that, for some reason, were not affected by the gas. There were also problems last week where matches would end just seconds after starting.

Raven Software, the developers, have acknowledged the existence of these issues and are actively searching for solutions. They shared this information on their official Twitter account:

“We are investigating an issue where players are unable to launch Call of Duty: Warzone through the Battle.net client on PC. In some cases, we are seeing conflicts with antivirus software. We will provide more details as they become available.”

It’s worth noting that Warzone officially exited beta on March 10, 2020, and has been available on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S. The game boasts over 100 million registered accounts, with more than 65% of them being active. Warzone’s online player base is substantial, and its matches are known for their fast-paced action.
