M0NESY got MVP for BLAST Premier: World Final 2022
G2 Esports CS:GO player Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov was named BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 Most Valuable Player by HLTV.org. This is the first such award for the 17-year-old Russian from that publication.
G2 Esports successfully defeated Team Liquid in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 with a score of 2-0. G2 Esports player Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov finished the match with a rating of 1.27, which was the second highest score of all the participants.
The best player of the final round was Justin “jks” Savage with rating 1.35. The BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 was held in Abu Dhabi Dec. 14-18 with a prize pool of one million dollars.
UPD: The team celebrated the win the evening after, where the following happened according to Ilya:
We were celebrating with the team at the bar yesterday,(obviously I wasn’t drinking) and I got kicked out of the bar by security, said underage, cringe.
