Teams Woro2k and SIXER played a match on the map Anubis, which lasted 65 rounds

Team Monte and GenOne played the longest match on the Anubis map in CS:GO in the group stage of the Thunderpick Bitcoin Series #2 online tournament. The match lasted 65 rounds and was won by Vladimir Woro2k Veletnyuk’s team with the score of 34:31.

Although this match is one of the longest in the history of CS:GO, it is not a record in terms of duration. The longest match is considered to be the meeting between XENEX and exceL at ESL UK Premiership Season 1 in 2015, which lasted 88 rounds.

Valve added the Anubis map to the competitive mappool on the night of November 19, 2022. In addition, the developers also weakened AWP and M4A1-S. The first major LAN tournament using the new map will be BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, which will be held December 14-19 in Abu Dhabi.
