The CS:GO Cumption Story: The Most Unexpected Events at the Top Level

Harry “NER0” Richards, an HLTV.org journalist, posted a list of the most unexpected campaigns in the history of CS:GO tournaments at the Tier-1 level on his Twitter account. HLTV.org’s scoring system, which provides real-time team rankings, was used as the primary criterion for judging the chances of winning.

Two of the most entertaining camebacks in the history of draw-1 tournaments are Virtus.pro vs. ENCE (ESL Pro League Season 13) and Luminosity vs. Liquid (MLG Columbus 2016). Although Virtus.pro and Luminosity had less than half a percent chance of winning, they managed to win 12 and 9 rounds respectively.
