Valve is conducting a global CS:GO update and warns players about a new penalty

The new CS:GO update is larger than usual – size 15 MB. Its key goal is to innovate the “Dreams and Nightmares” contest. Valve has added a checkbox that allows the user to mark consent to participate. Additionally, the developers have warned players about the possibility of temporary blocking for receiving an unusually high number of complaints.

In addition, changes affected Pitstop and Mocha – the maps received a new batch of adjustments. The former has improved sky and fog displays, refined textures, fixed various details and removed the pixel bypass outside the box.

The Mocha map received even more updates. Point B has opened up several windows so that players can throw grenades more freely. Valve also changed the movement around certain locations, so the wall going from revival point CT to the middle was raised. There is a new container in front of the T revival point, allowing players to jump up.

The studio also fixed some texture flaws, removed bomb jamming points, and made minor optimization improvements.
