The user revealed that the next patch for the game will weigh in at 38.3 GB and is currently being tested across platforms – Steam, GOG, and EGS. The new update will prevent players from launching the game without the latest patches to mitigate negative reviews and backlash related to bugs. Additionally, players won’t be able to play offline unless they download the latest patch. Such restrictions have been spotted on EGS, with no information available for other platforms as of now.

According to the Epic Games Store database, all information regarding additional content and DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 has been removed. This follows an official roadmap from CD Projekt RED indicating an undisclosed release date for the new patch and its subsequent delay. It appears the company is making efforts to conceal data about upcoming additions and changes from data miners.

Recall that we recently reported on the upcoming free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 slated for a late 2021 release. The last patch for Cyberpunk 2077, version 1.23, was rolled out in June, addressing dozens of significant issues and bugs related to physics, animations, and missions.
