Genshin Impact 3.0
Genshin Impact, the open-world RPG from Chinese developer Hoyoverse, should soon receive a key update to version 3.0, code-named Sumeru (the last update of the same value, Inazuma, came out a year ago).
The game will have a new region Sumeru, which will be divided into two main parts: the rainforest and the desert. How they will look like, the developer has demonstrated in a new video:
The new biomes impress with spectacular views and fit seamlessly into the game’s fantasy design. For example, in The Forest will be a city built on a large tree, and in the desert – ancient ruins. Also the Sumeru update will add a new “herbal” element Dendro, which should update the combat system.
In addition, the game will get a new storyline with a confrontation with the Forerunners of Fatua, one of the main “villains” in Teiwat. There is no official release date for Genshin Impact 3.0 yet, but if the developer sticks to his own schedule of releasing updates every six weeks and beyond, we should expect Sumeru update in late August.
