New patch 3.7 in Genshin Impact: Release date, new character, and banners
Genshin Impact is a popular multiplayer role-playing game developed by HoYoverse. In recent weeks, the developers have focused their efforts on the new 4.0 version of the game with a new region and fresh content for their recently released game Honkai: Star Rail. However, a major patch 3.7 will be released in Genshin Impact in May with a new playable character and other interesting updates.
Release Date of Patch 3.7 in Genshin Impact
Update 3.7 in Genshin Impact is set to be released on May 24, 2023, and will last for six weeks until it is REPLACED by patch 3.8 on July 5.
New Character in Genshin Impact 3.7 – Kirara
In the new update of Genshin Impact, a new playable character will be introduced – Kirara, a delivery service employee from Inazuma. She is a cat girl who will have a 4-star rarity and the Dendro (Nature) element with a one-handed sword. She is likely to be a support character for teams through Dendro reactions. Her elemental skill applies a shield and activates buffs with a quick press, while her ultimate deals area-of-effect Dendro damage. Kirara can be obtained through a limited-time banner, and starting from patch 3.8, she will be available in the standard wish.
Banners in Genshin Impact 3.7
With the release of the update, two limited-time wishes will be available. One will be dedicated to Ayumi, and the other to Yae Miko. Kirara may be included in both banners. Around June 14 and until the end of the patch, they will be replaced by wishes for Kazuha and Al-Haytham, and obtaining Kirara in those banners will no longer be possible.
Quests and Events in Genshin Impact 3.7
There won’t be a new main storyline in version 3.7, but there will be two side quests. The main time-limited event will revolve around the card game “Sacred Calling of the Seven” – players can participate in a tournament with other characters. During the event’s storyline, we will meet the reporter Charlotte from the next region, Fontaine. In addition to card games, the event quest contains a series of mini-games.
