The game Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an action RPG developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is a sequel to the game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, which was released in 2014.
In Shadow of War, the player once again takes on the role of Talion, a killer of orcs, who returns to Middle-earth to avenge the death of his family. The game takes place during the time when Sauron rises against the Lord of the Rings and prepares to take over all of Middle-earth.
The gameplay of Shadow of War combines elements of action, boss battles, and a system of unpredictable relationships with enemies, which was introduced in the first installment. Additionally, the game introduces a new siege system, where the player will have to take command of orcs and fight for control over territories.
