New Rumors About Modern Warfare II

Actually, there’s information for three posts here, but I tried to compress it all into one.

First of all, it’s worth mentioning that there was a concept for a Call of Duty game about the police! And it was immediately scrapped. But the main point is that insiders are once again talking about how great the game will be, a direct quote:

Everyone at Infinity Ward is putting in huge efforts to make the game a work of art. Insiders also note that Infinity Ward isn’t afraid of experimentation and doesn’t want to make just another Call of Duty.

It looks like a repeat of the MW2019 story, where the game was a technical masterpiece but just okay in terms of gameplay. But here’s the bombshell: in the third mode, which is supposedly like Tarkov (click on the hashtags if you want to learn more), all the weapons from MW19 will be there, but reworked for the new engine.

And there’s one more thing: several former CD Projekt RED employees have joined Infinity Ward Poland. IW Poland is the team that developed IW8 from scratch (well, almost).
