DrDisRespect Appears on a Twitch Livestream
Guy ‘DrDisRespect’ Beahm recently made an appearance on a Twitch stream, despite the fact that the Twitch administration had issued a permanent ban to him. His appearance on the platform was part of a promotional campaign for the Code Red Warzone tournament. The promotional material featured Beahm as a player.
His appearance in the role of Guy Beahm generated significant excitement among viewers and increased activity. However, it is well known that according to Twitch rules, banned streamers are not allowed to be featured or have streams on the platform.
The organizers only noticed this mistake after the promotional material had been released. They sent a letter to Twitch support, apologized for the incident, and now it remains to be seen whether Twitch will take action against BoomTV, where the tournament stream was hosted. The promotional clip garnered over 120,000 views in less than a day.
It’s worth recalling that on June 26, 2020, the administration blocked DrDisRespect’s channel, but they never officially disclosed the reason for the ban. Following the ban, Beahm moved to the YouTube platform, where he quickly became one of the platform’s most popular streamers.
