PariMatch Completely Shuts Down in Ukraine

❌ Here’s the news that has just come in. One of the largest bookmakers in Ukraine, and undoubtedly one of the most influential, has closed its operations in Ukraine.

Speaking from my perspective, from the standpoint of the state, they may have been involved in something illegal, potentially evading taxes, and so on. If that’s the case, there should be legal consequences. They lost much more than they gained from potential manipulations.

However, this company has contributed a lot to esports: organizing tournaments, sponsoring teams, studios, content creators, and even generating their own content. I’ve collaborated with them in the past on various projects, such as the Respawn podcast, and I have nothing but positive impressions from our collaborations. People I know and respect worked in their esports department. I hope everything turns out well for these guys.

One way or another, the story of one of the most well-known esports bookmakers has come to an end. Rest In Peace.
