Valve has taken up the fight against Steam Deck resellers

A Valve representative said at the time that as a precautionary measure, a requirement that the user must make a purchase of Steam before June 2021 was added.

If you already have a positive account and have made purchases before June 2021, there’s a chance to reserve the game on July 16, starting at 10am. If you didn’t use an “account” before June, you’ll have to wait two days. To reserve the console, you must make a prepayment of $5 (approximately 375 rubles).
