Ominis Gont (Mrax) in Hogwarts Legacy

“Harry Potter” fans are disappointed, as the game “Hogwarts Legacy” has no famous characters from the movies and books, except for a few ghosts.

However, the game does have a distant ancestor of one of the mighty wizards in the wizarding world. At Hogwarts, the player may meet a blind student, Ominis Gaunt, a member of the Mrax dynasty, related to the Riddle and Potter families.

Fans have established that Ominis lived at the same time as Marvolo Mrax, Tom Riddle’s grandfather. They may have been siblings or cousins. Ominis Mrax appears in one of the quests in the game. If you talk to him, he will tell you about his father, a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin.
