Prepare for rank reset in LoL: when will Split 1 end and Split 2 begin?

Riot Games has unveiled its plans for Season 13 of League of Legends in 2023. In this article, we’ll delve into the details of the ranking reset and the start of the second split.

Rank Reset After the First Split
The first split of LoL in 2023 will conclude on July 17 at 23:59 local time. After this, the player rankings on the League of Legends servers will be reset to zero.

Rewards for the First Split
Players who reach the “Gold” rank or higher, or those who have played a sufficient number of games, will receive a unique skin from the “Triumphant” series, an icon, a profile border, color schemes, and other cosmetics. The champions receiving new looks are yet to be announced. The full list of rewards will be revealed closer to the end of the first split.

Start of the Second Split
The second split will commence immediately after the conclusion of the first. Players will battle it out on servers running patch 13.13. The subsequent update, 13.14, is set to release on July 19, 2023.
