League of Legends Makes Waves on the Internet: New Rank and Revolutionary Ranking System!

Riot Games, the developer of the popular game League of Legends, has announced significant changes to the ranking system. A new rank called “Emerald” will be added between the existing “Platinum” and “Diamond” ranks, which will help more accurately distribute players by their skill level. However, these changes will not affect high-ranking players and will only make the climb at lower ranks more challenging.

Another major change will involve the removal of promotion series. Now, players will automatically move between leagues when they accumulate the required number of points, reducing the number of games in qualification series from ten to five.

These changes will take effect with the start of the second ranked split on July 19. Additionally, for the first part of the season, players will receive a victorious skin for Anivia. The free skin will be awarded to players who have achieved a rank of “Gold+” or played a sufficient number of matches.
