Warzone: Patch Note May 20th

Today, May 20, 2021, Warzone’s big update, Cold War, was released. Below you will find the full list of changes.

Events – Action Heroes 80′

The start of a new event with 18 challenges (9 for Warzone and 9 for Cold War) for completing which, you can get a blueprint for a tactical and sniper rifle.

Game Modes

Added temporary game mode – Power Grab

Map

General

• Gunsmith system is now available for CW weapons
• Stickers and pendants from CW and MW will only be used on their respective weapons (Example: CW weapon stickers cannot be used on MW weapons)

Gameplay

• A new scoring series, the Combat Bow, has been added to the following modes: Main Battle Royale, Loot, Power Grab
• The drop rate of the Reinforced Ammo Field Mod has been reduced.
• Also, we are preparing one very interesting change for the solo mode of the Battle Royale, stay tuned.

Bug fixes

• Fixed some more places on the map that allowed falling through the map.
• Fixed a bug where the gas mask would become infinite if the player died with the gas mask on for the first time
• Fixed a bug where sometimes the Activision ID was not displayed on the kill replay, even if this option was enabled in the settings.
• Fixed a bug where the Marauder contract was incorrectly displayed in some locations.
• Fixed a bug where the box with the kit fell through the salt pools in the location of the mine.
• Fixed an issue where the Spark performer would not appear in the select performer menu until a bundle was purchased with it.
• Fixed an LW3 – Tundra bug that caused the rifle model to display incorrectly when firing the last round in the magazine
• Fixed a bug with incorrect display of the Great Pacific weapon blueprint
• Fixed a bug where the Swiss k31, when using enhanced ammo, could kill with 1 shot to the chest.
• Fixed a bug where Bullfrog was getting the wrong bullet speed.
• Fixed a bug where some barrels on the CARV.2 had incorrect readings.
• Fixed incorrect store names for Fara 83

Special abilities

• Many non-verbal sounds will now be displayed in subtitles in square brackets []
• Added HoH-like subtitles for in-game cinematics.
• A new Accessibility menu has been added (author’s translation) – it includes all sorts of settings for people with disabilities.

Weapon

• Ballistic Knife is now available in Warzone
• The AMP63 pistol will be available soon.

Submachine guns

AK-74u

• Increased neck damage multiplier from 1.1 to 1.4
• Sprint exit speed increased by 20%
• Bullet speed reduced by 15%
• Max damage range reduced by 25%

PPSh-41

• Max damage increased from 27 to 28
• Max damage range increased by 3.8%

Sniper rifles

All standard scopes on CW sniper rifles have been adjusted.

M82

• Bullet speed increased by 14%
• Increased limb damage multiplier from 0.9 to 1.0
• Fire rate reduced from 0.33 to 0.83

LW 3 – Tundra

• Aim stability increased

Swiss k31

• Damage resistance increased (screen flinches when taking damage)
• Scope entry speed increased
• Aim stability increased

ZRG 20mm

• Bullet penetration increased
• Upper torso damage multiplier increased from 1.25 to 1.7
• Lower torso damage multiplier increased from 1.15 to 1.25
• Increased limb damage multiplier from 0.9 to 1.0
• Scope entry speed reduced by 4%
• Bullet speed reduced by 2%
• Movement speed reduced by 2%
• Sighted movement speed reduced by 1%

• No longer increases effective range
• Now greatly increases stability while aiming
• Scope entry speed multiplier increased

Steady Aim Laser

• No longer reduces dispersion from the hip
• Now increases scope entry speed

Swat 5mW Laser Sight

• No longer reduces dispersion from the hip
• No longer reduces crosshair entry speed
• Now increases stability when aiming
• Now greatly increases scope entry speed

Performers

• Added two new artists: John McClain and Rimbaud. They are available in new sets.
