A complete overview of the changes in the new VALORANT patch (Valorant update 1.04.2023)

The new Valorant patch is here and it’s full of exciting changes to help you play more efficiently and enjoy the gameplay. In order for you to be aware of all the changes, we have prepared a detailed overview for you.

Agent changes:

• The Runner can now pick up weapons and shoot, which will allow him to become an even more versatile and useful character.
• The Brimstone Beard now increases the rate of fire of any other player’s weapons, making them more effective on the battlefield.

Ranked Game Changes:

• Now the couples are automatically placed in a separate queue, and during the match they will hear only each other in the voice chat. This will help to avoid stupid comments from the allies and focus on the game.

Game systems update:

• Now you can fire at the enemy base directly from your base, which opens up new tactical possibilities.
• Tailwind Jett now automatically reloads every 0.5 seconds, making it more effective on the battlefield.

Map Changes:

• Only the Breeze map remained in the game, but now it has bungalows and sun loungers, so you can relax during the battle.

Mode Changes:

• New training game mode: no groups, no scoreboard and no chat. This is a great way to improve your skills on your own.

Game performance:

• New visual effect for the best agents of the match – now they will look older than usual. This will allow you to stand out on the battlefield and impress your opponents.

Progress changes:

• The Battle Pass can now be leveled up on the bike. Just pedal and get rewards!

Social Opportunity Changes:

• Added automatic in-game slang translation to voice chat to help avoid misunderstandings between players.

Weapon Changes:

• We noticed that there was a debate on the net about which weapon is better – Vandal or Phantom. To make it easier for players to choose, we’ve removed Vandal from the store. Now Phantom will be your best friend!
