Capcom has posted an atmospheric video that focuses on the Sunbreak add-on for Monster Hunter Rise and support for the game in 2023. The Sunbreak add-on was released this June on PC and Nintendo Switch. The main Monster Hunter Rise game was released on the Nintendo Switch in 2021 and is available on PC in 2022 as well.
With the release of the Sunbreak add-on, Monster Hunter Rise added new locations and monsters. In August, the add-on’s circulation exceeded 4 million copies. In the same month, as well as in September and November, Capcom released one free update each for the game. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is expected to have two more free updates in 2023, in February and spring.
On January 20 next year, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be available on PlayStation and Xbox, including Game Pass. However, the Sunbreak add-on will not be available on the new platforms until spring.
