Earlier this year, an enthusiast nicknamed Red Panda announced the creation of an unofficial port of STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl on Unreal Engine 5. And now, after several months of development, the modder is pleased to announce the release of a new beta version of the project.
This port uses original resources, part of the maps, dialogues, artificial intelligence system, inventory and shooting mechanics. What’s more, the UE5 Editor has been added in this version, allowing PC users to modify the game as they see fit and create their own content.
Unfortunately, it is not yet known when the final version of STALKER on Unreal Engine 5 will be completed. But you can already download the test build from the link we provided.
