S.T.A.L.K.E.R. release date 2

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, developed by Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, does not have an official release date. The game was originally scheduled to be released in December 2022, but due to the full-scale invasion of Russia, the project had to be delayed until 2023. However, there have recently been rumors that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will not have to be waited for much longer than half a year.

Information has not come from any insiders. The official account of the The Game Awards ceremony in Twitter published the data. The account posted a list of Xbox projects that are scheduled to be released by the end of June 2023. The list includes S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, along with Starfield, Redfall, and Forza Motorspot.

However, it is currently unclear how accurate this information is. The publication may have been based on projects shown at the Xbox and Bethesda Summer Showcase. Games that are definitely scheduled to be released within the year, before June 2023, were demonstrated at the event. However, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was only shown during an additional presentation the day after the main event. This means that the release rule for the Ukrainian shooter does not apply throughout the year.

Developers from GSC Game World have not given specific release dates for the game. In a recent trailer, they only confirmed that they plan to release the sequel in 2023.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl – Key Details

The sequel takes place in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The game will combine elements of first-person shooter, horror, and immersive simulator. The story will be varied with multiple ENDINGS. Players will have to make decisions that will have consequences throughout the game.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will have advanced artificial intelligence and improved A-Life 2.0 life simulation system. This will allow characters, mutants, and animals to interact with each other and the environment without player intervention.

The game is also set to feature 30 types of weapons, dynamic weather changes, survival mechanics, and much more.
The game was postponed to 2023 due to the suspension of development after the full-scale invasion of Russia.
