Russian Gamers Offended by the Developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

The week has been eventful in the gaming world, with various developments and articles. Recently, the developers of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game series restricted access to their games for Russian players. As a result, players from Russia started leaving hundreds of negative reviews for all S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series games on Steam. Only on March 8, 2022, more than 250 negative reviews were left for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game.

All series of games received negative reviews, often coming from Russian gamers. It’s unknown whether these reviews will be deleted or addressed. Hopefully, Valve will address this issue later.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl” received 95 negative reviews in a day, “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat” received 86 negative reviews, and “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky” received 59 bad reviews. In almost all cases, Ukrainian developers were criticized for sanctions and blocking Russian gamers from playing the game.
