S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 (release date – December 2023) is a mix of action, shooter, and adventure, dedicated to survival in the Chernobyl Zone. It is being developed for desktop, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Stalker 2 is a continuation of the first part of the famous game, which gained incredible popularity among players worldwide.
By purchasing and downloading Stalker 2, you get over 100 hours of first-person gameplay. Moreover, in the new version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, you will be able to explore both new and old locations, meet familiar characters from the first series, and interact with new ones.
On March 14, 2022, programmers from GSC Game World renamed the title of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on Steam. According to information from representatives of the company SteamDB, the changes affected only one letter in the game’s description, and now instead of “Heart of Chernobyl”, it displays “Heart of Chornobyl”.
This change is due to the rules of transliteration of the Ukrainian language, which is more accurate for this game – previously, the description displayed an erroneous transliteration of the Russian-English direction. Therefore, the game now has an official title S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
According to the news about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, after launching the game, you will be left alone with the dangers of a game world covering an area of 64 sq. km. During the completion of various missions, you will be offered different solutions to tasks that can fundamentally change everything that will happen next. Another interesting aspect of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is encounters with various factions. You will be able to join them or resist them, participating in fierce shootouts. It is good that the choice of weapons in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be extensive – over 30 types.
In addition, in Stalker 2, you will encounter not only humans but also mutants (which is logical since we are in Chernobyl after all). There are no friendly mutants among them, and each one is trying to kill you. Therefore, you will constantly have to be on guard and learn to use weapons skillfully in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, as these mutants are divided into subspecies (and this makes them simply unpredictable).
