Overall, this crafting survival game stands out for its non-triviality and makes you want to understand what is happening on the island.
The main focus is on the aggressive environment – mutated wildlife that is encountered everywhere. Dealing with mutants is necessary but not easy. Constantly searching for equipment and upgrading weapons is necessary. At times, DESOLATE may remind players of the popular game S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but this only adds to its positive perception. Anomalies with artifacts are harmoniously integrated into the storyline.
