CS2 Update: Key Fixes as of 26.10.2023

Map Fixes

The first thing that catches the eye is the fixes on maps such as Inferno, Overpass, Nuke, Dust 2, Anubis, Office, Vertigo, Mirage, and Ancient. The gameplay has become even more balanced and enjoyable.

Weapon and Damage Fixes

There were also moments fixed where weapons could behave oddly, for instance, falling through the map. Plus, a bug was fixed where Molotov damage could erroneously be registered as damage to teammates – yup, now you can “roast” the foes at ease!

Explosion Optimization

Attention was also paid to the optimization of flash and hash explosions in the update. Now, the explosion effects will display even more realistically, without burdening your computer.

Cosmetic Improvements and Other Fixes

Various adjustments have been made to skins and stickers to ensure everything looks chic. Also, a code has been added that should help with packet loss issues – so now, the connection should be even more stable.

SDR Routing

Last but not least, a fix regards SDR routing. Now the system more adequately selects the optimal route when connecting, minimizing delays and making the gaming process even more comfortable.

The size of the update is about 2.9 GB, so make sure you have some free space on your disk before proceeding with the download.
