Warzone Upgrade in MWIII 7/10/2023

Let’s dive straight into the heart of the upgrade — the new map, Urzikstan. It’s a fusion of Verdansk and Al Mazry, albeit smaller than Al Mazry, resembling Caldera in dimensions. Urzikstan is ushering in the fresh vibe of MWIII movement mechanics along with a weaponry arsenal from both games.

Right from the get-go on December 6, Urzikstan, Ashika, and Wondel welcome us with their KB, Loot, and Resurgence. And there’s more on the horizon! Island Resurgence and Fortune’s Keep are slated for addition later. With the advent of the second season, a ranking system will kick in, likely bringing back Al Mazru. It’s too good a map to just let go.

Perks in Action

Perks are a separate chapter here. They echo MWII but with a twist:

• Ghost perk is now active only when moving.
• The comeback of Combat Scout is indeed a good move.
• Shrouded: you toss a smoke grenade when knocked down.
• Irradiated: move faster in gas and take less damage.
• Resolute: speed boosts when you are hurt.

Now stimulants speed up the movement, red dots pop up on the mini-map. Ammo has moved to separate compartments, allowing a set for each weapon category. Gas masks are to be applied manually, and a pistol is always accessible underwater. Gas masks counteract tear gas, and now you can halt the train and reroute it.

And there’s more! Numerous new ziplines have appeared, including horizontal ones between houses. The GULAG has been revamped, now featuring a night vision goggle version, and instead of a flag, there’s a zipline. Big Game Bounty will make a return among a plethora of other changes.

All in all, December 6 promises a Trove of excitement, and even though Verdansk may not return, Urzikstan already brings a touch of familiarity and novelty. What are your thoughts on this?
