Racism and Toxicity in Call of Duty Will Result in Blocking Usernames.

It has been revealed that developers of the game Call of Duty have started blocking players who use racist nicknames or exhibit toxic behavior. Over the past year, 350,000 accounts have been blocked for this reason. This was announced in a blog post by an official representative.

The main blocks for these reasons occurred in the games Call of Duty: Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: Mobile. The reasons for the blocks were complaints from regular players who reported players that were insulting in voice chat after death or had offensive nicknames with a toxic tone from the start.

And you say, why bother complaining, it doesn’t work! You should never give up, complain about players with toxic behavior, offensive nicknames, avatars, as well as cheaters, so that the developers block them. Help create a decent, positive community yourselves.

In the same blog post, new filters were mentioned that prohibit players from using nicknames or clan names that contain toxicity, insults, or profanity. In addition, the same prohibited words and lists have been added to text chats, currently for 11 languages, including Russian.

Also, a reminder of the latest Warzone news: pink cheaters have appeared, a large number of accounts have been banned for cheating in the last week, and a new tournament is coming soon. It’s the first one from Activision for Call of Duty: Warzone and is expected to give a significant boost to the game in esports. It’s called the World Series of Warzone, and the developers of the battle royale will host four championships, each with a prize pool of $300,000.
