Call of Duty League Tournament Affected by COVID-19 Pandemic.

According to the latest information from official sources, the Call of Duty League Championship, where teams will compete for just over $4.5 million, will be held in real-time mode.

Each gamer will play with their webcam turned on. Additionally, the event organizers have stated that they will monitor the equipment of each player (console, monitor, controllers, etc.).

“For the past few months, we have been working closely with gamers and teams of the Call of Duty League Championship. Given that the risks of COVID-19 infection worldwide are not decreasing and our staff is focusing on the safety of the tournament participants, the concluding part of this season will be held online. We made this decision, taking into account the arguments of all parties,” states the announcement from the event administrators, published on the official Call of Duty League website.
