Potentials and Pitfalls of CS 2: Jame’s Take

You know how CS 2 has been keeping us on the edge of our seats for a while now, right? It’s not just a sequel to the legendary CS:GO, but also a game that has already divided the community into two camps. And here we have Virtus.pro’s captain Jame weighing in. Do you agree with him? Let’s dive in!

What Does Jame Think?

“The game is not fully polished. Micro issues, mechanical problems, freezes, and strafes need to be fixed. Basically, movements, maps, shooting, and even the HUD need improvements, then it will be pretty cool,” Jame noted. He believes that with the right tweaks, CS 2 can even surpass CS:GO!

MR12 System: Good or Bad?

Jame had previously commented on the switch to the MR12 system. According to him, with this format, the professional scene should expand its map pool. We’ve already covered this, so check our website if you’re curious.

Latest Updates from Valve

Since April 2023, Valve has been running a limited beta for Counter-Strike 2. A major patch was released in early September. What’s new? A lot! For instance, premier matchmaking with map drafts and ranks for each location have been added. Plus, the MR12 round system is now in place.

What to Expect Next?

Rumors suggest that the full release of CS 2 might happen after the conclusion of ESL Pro League Season 18, which ends on October 1st. Worth the wait, isn’t it?

So, folks, what do you think? Do you agree with Jame’s perspective or do you have your own comments on CS 2? Share your thoughts in the comments!
