Personally, I have three Macs and all my work projects are exclusively executed on these machines. Besides, I have a Windows PC with RTX 4070 solely for engaging in CS and a few other titles.

We all hope that Valve reconsiders and releases CS2 for Mac. While I am indifferent due to my powerful PC, it’s disheartening for friends who prefer Mac. Launching a CS match on Mac during travels would be super convenient.

Recently, Apple introduced a new tool for porting games to macOS. Even Cyberpunk 2077, despite lacking optimization from CDPR, runs smoothly on Mac. Isn’t this a cue for Valve to reconsider?

Verdict: Mac Gamers Left Out in the Cold

Regrettably, macOS gamers are left out from CS2 as Valve decided not to support this operating system. Who knows, maybe the community feedback will prompt the company to revise their decision in the future.
