The future of NAVI: B1ad3 and npl leave the CS:GO team, changes in the lineup are possible

JONAS LIFE insider reported in his personal VKontakte group that Andrei B1ad3 Gorodensky and Andrei npl Kuharsky may leave the Natus Vincere CS:GO organization. This news caused a great resonance in the community.

This is at the level of insider on my part, everything below is at the level of rumor. The organization is opting for s1mple and his view of the lineup.

Whereas in TIER-1 lineups the key decision is made by the coach after discussion and lots of work with the players, in Navi it is made by s1mple, for the reason that he “doesn’t want” to play this or that card against this or that team. And, for the most part, he makes the pick decision, which often does not coincide with the coach’s position.

It’s worth noting that the choice towards Simpl may even be made because of his current contract and media, although Sasha’s individual play and relationship with the team has given a drastic downfall:

– The relationship with b1t is “in the balance”: if Valera does not regain his form at his position, additional drastic decisions will be made. Right now the players are feeling a little pressure on each other.

– The organization plans to actively look for analogues to test for the place of the current Perfecto / electronic. Even options from Europe will be considered. But so far this is more arguments than facts, because there are direct hints on it from management and the general situation + a couple of European players have already discussed it with one of the representatives of Ukrainian organization (I can`t name names yet).

In fact, the whole Squad is on the verge of risk at the moment. Only Sasha remains untouchable, who will be responsible for the “freshness of the team” in CS2.

P.S. Another reason that could play against Elec and Perf in the European lineup is the switch to English. IGL with a basic knowledge of it is hard to adapt to the new format.

Recently, NAVI’s CS:GO team failed to make the playoffs of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 tournament. Their departure from the tournament came after the Legends Stage, where they lost three of their five matches. As a result of this defeat, it was obvious that changes to the roster might be inevitable. Caster Jakob Pimp Winneche and Coach Alexei RuFire Burakov have already expressed their opinion on the need for replacements in the NAVI.

A decision on the future composition of the team is expected to be made in the near future. The departure of B1ad3 and npl could result in major changes to the organization and generate interest from other players in the transfer market. All NAVI fans and supporters look forward to the announcement and hope for an improved team in the near future.
