Through the Shadows of Chernobyl: new features in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 confirmed

The release of one of the most anticipated games – S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. And the information field is noticeably enlivened by a fresh selection of gameplay snippets that reveal some interesting features of the game. These materials were available thanks to a “leak” build of the game in the network, and they became the subject of attention of the publication “The Herald of the Same Stalker.

Among the presented features in the game appeared the mechanics of the treatment of injured characters and the transfer of corpses. The latter was already implemented in “Shadows of Chernobyl”, but in subsequent releases – “Clear Sky” and “The Call of Pripyat” – this feature was present only through additional modifications.

A special feature of “Stalker 2” will be a limited capacity of corpses. In past versions of the game, players actively used “bags” of corpses to carry a huge number of items. But the new mechanics hints at the introduction of a full-fledged stealth mode in the game, where carrying corpses will become an important part.

Such assumptions have already been expressed earlier in the official Discord-channel of the game, where the developers hinted at the possible stealth-mode appearance. They stressed that you need to be able to act silently in the Zone, as loud noises are not welcome there. In addition, they mentioned that the goal will be achieved in different ways, not always by violence.

Thus, the updated “Stalker 2” promises to bring more variety to the passing styles of the game, giving players more freedom of action and choice. A release date was provided earlier, but as before, fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
