Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 3

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 3 is finally here, and it’s already shaping up to be the biggest content season in the game to date. As always, this update brings new weapons, maps, and modes, but there are plenty of surprises in store for players this season. Not only are things heating up in multiplayer, but it looks like Warzone is also getting some major new changes after the Devastation of Verdansk Live event. Here’s what to expect in Black Ops Cold War Season 3.

The Hunt for Adler event is currently running in Call of Duty: Warzone, and in order to get a special skin, you need to complete contracts with Intel in various places throughout the new map of Verdansk ’84. This is similar to the Outbreak and Haunting events in Verdansk, so that it will only be available for a while and will have its own special tab in the menu. This limited time mode also has Warzone issues, so it may not be fully available until the situation in Verdansk is resolved.

At the same time, players can check out the many new maps and weapons coming to the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer mode. The PPSh-41 is a fan-favorite SMG that has an incredibly fast rate of fire, and the Swiss K31 should be a powerful long-range option for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone players alike. The rest of the new weapons will be released throughout the season, so keep an eye out for them. You can test them out on Yamantau and Diesel, two new maps available at the start of the season. New Prestige levels are also available this season as always, and Season 3 raises the bar to Prestige 15. It’s time to polish if you want cool new icons.
