Fortnite v17.00 : Alien takeover
In the last weeks of the 6th season, the developers teased players about the capture of the island by alien creatures – circles of unknown origin appeared on the fields of the island, and flying UFOs could be seen in the sky. Moreover, they not only maneuvered in the air, but also teleported the characters to random places. What’s more, the alien beings have positioned their Mothership over the Fortnite island. They also collected various items located on the island (apparently, they analyzed and examined them).
And now the most interesting. Gamers in the updated Fortnite (season 7, chapter 2) can take control of the alien ships with which they were previously abducted. So, your character can now fly UFOs, take them from opponents, restore the health of the Persians in his group, but most importantly, with the help of UFOs, you can also cause serious damage to enemies.
Superman with Crossover, Rick and Morty
Epic Games is famous for having partnerships with many reputable brands and often incorporating their real solutions into the Fortnite virtual world. This was clearly seen in the 4th season, when the battle pass was completely dedicated to Marvel. And in Fortnite v17.00 (as well as in all subsequent seasons), the developers will also delight us with similar interesting updates.

Improved effects in Fortnite v17.00

- the savepoint device will no longer mistakenly increment the saved score;
- with the active mode “Destroyed by transmission”, the car will explode, as it should;
- when leaving the location, gamers will no longer face the problem of the “infinite screen”;
- when switching from one island to another, the settings of the previous location will be saved as expected.
“Battle Royale”
- it will be possible to catch fish without any problems on absolutely all vehicles;
- all picks will be included in the competition;
- in the process of moving by car, the character will not be damaged if the car itself is damaged;
- after the competition, it will be possible to craft a fiery or mechanical bow in the main game modes.
“Save the world”
- gamers playing Fortnite v17.00 on consoles will be able to use virtual keyboards and mice ;
- the quest “Supercharger” (weekly) will give not only the “Supercharger for heroes”, but also other rewards;
- a broken pickaxe will get an animation.
