The developers of HLAE (software for creating movies in CS:GO) have announced that they will not develop a version of the application for a possible Source 2.

This means that for some time it will become a community problem and, most likely, at first we will not see beautiful fragments of movies from tournaments, since we will need to create the appropriate software from scratch.

Perhaps, along with the transition of CS to Source 2, Valve will introduce its own application for creating beautiful moments from CS, but knowing the guys from the “valve” is unlikely.
