The top five years of difficult games cannot do without Returnal, which has caused a lot of buzz. Some gamers have already appreciated the perfection of the plot, others hate it, and only those who have not played remain indifferent. Unfortunately, PC owners were unable to evaluate the game – it is an exclusive game created only for PlayStation 5.
In this competition, the gamer will have to play in the third person. The character is the space explorer Selene, who, after a crash, finds herself on the mysterious planet Atropos. On the planet, the curious astronaut encounters hostile representatives of nature and discovers the ruins of a once-existing civilization. Naturally, the world will not learn about the astronaut’s discovery if Selene dies. And believe me, she will die, and not just once.
Using roguelike elements in a cinematic shooter was quite bold and unconventional. As it turned out, not all gamers are ready to die and start their Journey anew. Returnal is a kind of cosmic “Groundhog Day” that needs to be completed positively in order to not get caught in the same period again. However, only a few will be able to cope with this and leave the cyclical events as winners.
