Roblox Developers Settle a $200 Million Copyright Infringement Lawsuit

Important information has recently come to light. In the summer of this year, the NMPA association filed a lawsuit against the creators of the legendary sandbox game Roblox. The reason for this legal dispute was that the studio allowed players to reproduce tracks on their servers without proper licenses.

The feud between them didn’t last long, as it was announced a couple of days ago that Roblox and NMPA have reached a peaceful agreement regarding licensing deals with the gaming platform. Perhaps the creators of the sandbox game decided to provide them with a substantial compensation. In addition to the above, Roblox is available for free download on PC, Xbox One, Android, and iOS.
