New Weapon: MP9

Patchout update 19.1 for "PUBG: Battlegrounds" → photo 27

The P90 was a fully automatic submachine gun used by players in a variety of situations. At the same time, this weapon could only be obtained in the airdrop, and was often considered impractical because of its use of the 5.7mm cartridge. Whereas the MP9 can be obtained on the map, and this weapon uses the more common 9mm round. Although the MP9 has slightly less range, rate of fire, and damage than the P90, this weapon is a great alternative for players who prefer the P90 style of play.

  • Firing Modes: Single and Fully Automatic Fire
  • Sights larger than a collimator and holographic sight cannot be used
  • Ammunition: 9mm
  • Damage per shot: 31
  • Bullet velocity: 400

Plus, there’s quality equipment in the trunk of the car, so if a Pillar Guard vehicle happens to be near you, jump in!

New Tactical Equipment: Blue Chip Detector

Patchout update 19.1 for "PUBG: Battlegrounds" → photo 29

You no longer have to constantly twist your neck while searching for enemies! The blue chip detector will automatically scan the area for you at any moment.

  • Pick up the blue chip detector and press the corresponding button to see the screen. The screen updates every 5 seconds whether you are looking at it or not.
  • The blue chip detector makes a short beeping sound when it updates.
  • This sound is heard only by the owner of the device. When updating, the device scans the terrain within a radius of 100 m for the presence of enemies and displays the 12 nearest enemies with dots on the screen.
  • If after updating the blue chip detector detects at least one enemy, it emits an additional sound different from the first one.
  • This sound is heard only by the owner of the device.
  • The dots denoting the players remain on the screen for 1 second.
  • If a detected enemy is significantly above or below your position, the player’s marking dot will get an additional V-shaped symbol indicating the difference in height. Detected enemies are not displayed on the screen in real time.
  • The dot will remain in the same place even after the enemy has moved.
  • The blue chip detector occupies the main weapon cell.
  • When viewing the blue chip detector screen (aiming) the use of signal markers is not possible.

The developers are well aware of how frustrating it is for the player to find himself in a situation where during an engagement with the enemy there is no way to find a normal shelter.
