Alan Wake 2 is disappearing from the Russian region of the Epic Games Store: Why?

Epic Games Store users have discovered that the game Alan Wake 2 can no longer be purchased in the Russian region. Just two days after the start of pre-orders, the page with the game simply disappeared, leaving fans baffled. The initial price of the title was 3,198 rubles.

Neither the developers, nor the representatives of the Epic Games Store announced the reasons for this decision. In addition, the cost of the game increased in some other regions.

In the sequel to the game, players will be able to take on the role of not only Alan, but also an agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This will be two separate stories, which can be freely switched between. Anderson’s Saga, which will be the name of the police officer, will explore the real world, while Alan Wake will travel to the home of the dark entity.

Alan Wake 2 is scheduled to be released on October 17 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The remaster of the first part of Alan Wake is still available in Russia.
