Assassin’s Creed will turn into a live service – insiders
Ubisoft will launch Assassin’s Creed: Infinity in the fall – will be a one-stop shop for all new installments in the series, all future installments of the game can be launched in seconds in Infinity and continue playing from the last save.
Within Assassin’s Creed: Infinity there will be monetization: cosmetics and battle passes.
Ubisoft plans to launch one Assassin’s Creed every two years, with smaller projects in between:
- 🟠Red, a key game with RPG mechanics, releasing this year;
- 🟠Invictus – an online game, release in 2025;
- 🟠Hexe – a core game with new mechanics, release in 2026. Will be the darkest installment in the series, according to Tom Henderson. Events will allegedly unfold in Germany and surrounding areas during the time of the Holy Roman Empire. The main theme of the game will be a witch hunt. There will be no RPG elements in the game, you will have to play as a woman;
- 🟠 Black Flag remake;
- 🟠Nebula – A game with settings of India, Aztec Empire and Mediterranean Sea;
- 🟠Raid – a cooperative F2P game;
- 🟠Echoes – an online game;
- 🟠Unknown Remake – most likely a remake of the first installment. Release before 2030.
