Error 630 in CoD Cold War

Treyarch has reported that they are investigating the “Sail 630 Nuclear Bug” error that PC players are encountering in the zombie mode after today’s update in the game Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Despite receiving numerous reports from players that they have been disconnected due to the error, Treyarch has assured that disconnection due to the error does not result in a ban, and it is not related. However, some players continue to see the message: “Account permanently banned.”

This 630 error in COD occurs because your internet connection has been disrupted, you may have switched to a VPN (if you are using one), or you have experienced a standard internet failure (it disconnected, went offline, or hung up). What’s worse, after such an error, the system may lock your CoD account (i.e., ban it).

First, try restarting the game.
Reboot your computer/console and check your internet connection (you can also restart your router).
Disable cheats and other third-party software.
If your account is banned, in such a case, you will need to contact customer support to find out why this happened.
