Main Heroes and Villains in Vanguard

Main Campaign Characters

Gallery Main Heroes and Villains in Vanguard

We already know all about them, and there’s not much super interesting there, although I noticed a couple of facts:

  • Based on the trailer, it’s a sure thing that we’ll be flying planes in the campaign.
  • According to leaks, planes will also be in Warzone.
  • At the start of the game, there will be 12 playable operators.

Official Sledgehammer Games Twitter Description of Characters

Just to clarify, I didn’t come up with the descriptions for each of the characters; these are from the official Sledgehammer Games Twitter.

Credit where it’s due, they went into detail:

  • Not sure if it will work, but he’ll make it work
  • Always has a backup plan
  • Sarcastic

Wade Jackson: A badass pilot

  • Does all his own stunts
  • Planes
  • “Stay behind me!”

Lucas Riggs: Explosives expert

  • Sweet tooth
  • Great at shearing sheep
  • BOOM!

Polina Petrova: The notorious Lady Nightingale

  • Can kill you with a bread knife
  • Hasn’t ruled out killing you
  • Start running right now!

Welcome and meet the heart of the first operational group – Arthur Kingsley

  • Favorite weapon – his intellect

Main Villain of Vanguard

We’ve already seen the main heroes (I’ll pay attention to them in the next posts), and now it’s time for the main villain of the game:

SS Oberst-Gruppenführer – Hermann Wenzel Freisinger (from now on, I’ll just call him Hermann, or else my buttons will break) – the chief specialist of the SS and the architect of Project Phoenix.

SS Oberst-Gruppenführer – Hermann Wenzel Freisinger. He’s an important figure in the SS, and after (spoiler alert) the defeat in the war, he becomes the head of the Fourth Reich and Operation Phoenix.

I played the campaign of Battlefront 2, and there was also an SS Oberst-Gruppenführer who executed the plan after the defeat, and he also had 2 Imperial Guards behind him. But it’s just inspired, although it really looks very familiar, and I’ve seen all this somewhere before.

Remember, a week ago, the developers said we should prepare for war? I bet we’ll be given STG and M1 Garand from Vanguard, not for nothing did they add them this season and hastily remove them from custom games.
