GSC Game World Will Develop Games in the Czech Republic.

According to Czech media reports, some developers from GSC Game World are relocating to the Czech Republic. As reported by the Czech gaming site Vortex, some employees of the Kiev-based studio GSC Game World are relocating to the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, to continue development on the shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl, which has recently received the correct Ukrainian transliteration of its title.

The information about the possible relocation of GSC Game World was announced by several Czech journalists and was subsequently confirmed by the head of the Czech Association of Game Developers, Pavel Baraka. He emphasized that negotiations about the move did indeed take place, and the Ukrainian studio is genuinely considering the possibility of coming to the Czech Republic. The negotiations also involve the business and investment support agency CzechInvest.

In addition, Vortex, citing its own sources, writes that some of the team members are already effectively heading to the Czech Republic and are applying for business registration. The management of GSC seems to have chosen Prague as the location for their temporary office.

Information about the potential relocation of GSC Game World was also confirmed by Vortex and other sources. Petr Kolar from Ashborne Games studio in Brno mentioned that he also contacted developers from GSC regarding a possible move. According to other individuals in the gaming industry, especially in Brno, Czech developers have helped the Ukrainian team learn more about the details of a possible move to the Czech Republic.
