Twitch may soon be blocked in Russia

A massive discussion has begun about blocking Twitch in Russia, and not only at the level of streamers. Roskomnadzor became very interested in some bloggers and proposed a complete blocking of Twitch throughout the Russian Federation.

Despite various proposals from different people to block twitch in the Russian Federation, the decision must be fully balanced, as this can lead to many controversial issues, including financial ones.

Anton Gorelkin has already written more than once that it is time to block Twitch in the Russian Federation:

Now they were talking about the need to hold Twitch more seriously and take more serious measures against it in the form of either a full block or a partial block. But we actually heard it. We are ready to discuss it. Because, we believe, such actions should be approached in a balanced way, including assessing the possible risks that exist for our bloggers who use this resource. This needs to be assessed and an informed decision made based on the results.

However, the State Duma is sure that it is necessary to block Twitch, Discord, however, the Russian Federation must have analogues of these services in order to immediately provide replacements to users.
